Overnight pet sitting is the most luxurious service we offer. A licensed and bonded pet sitter will stay in your home from approximately 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (guaranteed 8 hours) following a customized routine that ensures your pet’s ultimate comfort.
In addition to the overnight stay, you can schedule extra drop-ins throughout the day for potty breaks and additional feedings.
We’ll provide fresh food and water, administer medications, take your dogs for a walk, have playtime in the yard, play fetch, have a brushing session, provide puppy massages, and tons of lap time, belly rubs and cuddles.

What days do you provide overnight pet sitting?
We operate 7 days a week, 365 days per year including holidays.
My dogs are used to someone being home 24/7. Will you provide constant, multi-hour care?
At this time we are unable to provide 24/7 or constant care services. We provide overnight sleepovers from approximately 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You can add additional drop-in visits throughout the day. Each drop-in is 30 minutes in length, and you may schedule up to 3 additional visits in addition to the overnight sleepover. We are required to pay our sitters an hourly wage for all time spent at your home, including sleep time.
What can I do to make my pet sitter more comfortable?
Your pet sitter will treat your home with the ultimate respect. Your home will be in the same or better condition when you arrive back home. Because a sitter will be spending the evening in your home, there are a few things we ask that your sitter be allowed to utilize: a bed (we’ll wash the linens at the end of service), microwave/stovetop for cooking a light meal, television and Wi-Fi internet.
Will I have the same pet sitter each evening?
You will be assigned a primary overnight pet sitter based on the needs of your pets and their personality. While we try to keep the same pet sitter on all visits, we may utilize additional staff members to provide coverage especially for longer stays.
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
We absolutely are! We are a full time, highly professional pet sitting business that takes our reputation very seriously. We wouldn’t have over 1,000 clients if we weren’t dependable and trustworthy.

We do not have a problem with cameras in the home. In fact, they protect us and prove that we are doing our job. However, we do not allow cameras in private areas such as bathrooms, changing rooms or bedrooms, nor do we allow audio listening services.
What if my pets need a midday visit in addition to an overnight stay?
Our services are fully customizable according to your pet’s needs. You can mix and match any of our pet sitting visits to customize a complete package for your pets. Most clients who use our overnight service will also include a 30 minute afternoon visit.
Is overnight pet sitting expensive?
We are a fully licensed, bonded and insured professional pet sitting company who invests heavily in training and the safety of your pets. We are certified in pet first aid and CPR. Since we work as a team, if your primary pet sitter has an emergency, we will be able to send a replacement. This is one of the main benefits of using Away Home & Pet Care vs. a solo hobbyist pet sitter.
When you reserve our overnight pet sitting service, we are blocking out exclusive time on our calendar specifically for you and your pets. You can’t put a price on the peace of mind we offer and the stress-free environment your pets will experience.
We are required by law to pay our sitters an hourly wage for ALL time spent at your home, including sleep time. In addition, we must provide overtime pay to sitters who exceed 40 hours per week.
