Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about pet care in Riverdale.

Can I walk my dog on the Weber River Parkway in Riverdale?

Yes, the Weber River Parkway runs 3 miles through Riverdale along the Weber River and connects to a roughly 10-mile continuous trail system. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. Bring your own waste bags. Three trailhead lots with restrooms are available: south of the Civic Center, off 600 West, and north off Parker Drive.

Is there an off-leash dog park in Riverdale?

No. Riverdale does not have a designated off-leash dog park. All parks require dogs to be leashed at all times. The closest off-leash options are Club Heights Dog Park in South Ogden and the Ogden City Dog Park.

Does Riverdale require me to license my dog?

Yes. Riverdale City requires annual dog licenses, available at the Civic Center at 4600 S. Weber River Drive (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM). 2026 fees are $15 for sterilized dogs and $50 for unsterilized dogs. After March 1 a $10 late fee applies. Riverdale Animal Control can also microchip your dog for $25, call (801) 394-6616.

Do you charge extra based on the city I live in?

No. Our pricing is the same across every city we serve. See current pricing or ask during your free meet and greet.

Who covers visits when my regular sitter is out?

We're a team, not a single sitter. Your care team is consistent and trained, and any backup sitter already knows your pet's care plan through Time to Pet before they arrive. You'll always know who's coming and see a photo report after every visit.

Are your sitters all local to the Ogden area?

Yes. Every team member is a W-2 employee who lives in and around Ogden. We're not a national franchise or a gig app — we're a local team serving the same neighborhoods we live in.
